Merikotkat
I'm sharing these photos of Sea Eagles. These are soooo blurry, I had to crop these photos a lot. Those birds were over than 200m away from us. Our Nikkor 55-300mm lens wasn't enough!! But it was so cool to see those!! Those "small" birds are crows.
I'm also linking to...
Muista tulla takaisin keskiviikkona Wednesday Around the World-linkitykseen!!
Welcome back next Wednesday for Wednesday Around the World-linky!!!
We don't have too much eagles in our region, but we have houseflies, gnats, pill bugs, spiders - and some crows as well of course.
VastaaPoistaAnd here's the link for your next NIKKOR "eagle catching" lens... ;-)

Have a great day!
Uwe.
We looked that too with my hubby but it might be a bit too expencive for us. :D That 800mm would be x1.5 in our camera so I could been photographing that eagles face and take macro shots. :D
Poista...in addition to the rediculous price of € 17129,- you need a burden bearer to carry the lens with a weight of 4,6 kg from location to location...
Poista...for the money you can buy at least two tame eagles!!!
;-)
Uwe.
Luckily I have 17129€ in my wallet. ;)
PoistaNOT.
Kyllä kotkaa kannattaa kuvata, vaikka kauempaakin! Sen verran harvinainen näky. :)
PoistaHienon satumaiset kuvat talvisesta maisemasta!
VastaaPoistaKiitos, Matkatar! <3

VastaaPoistaThanks, Polly!!! <3

VastaaPoistaThanks, Hans. <3
PoistaUpea kokemus! En ole ikinä nähnyt kotkia luonnossa.
VastaaPoistaOli kyllä mahtava säkä. Pojatkin oli innoissaan. :-) Mä olen kerran nähnyt aiemmin mutten näin läheltä.
PoistaGreat photos, birds of this distance are difficult to make, the meeting between eagles and crows can be very interesting.
VastaaPoistaThey were very peaceful together. I think that someone had been fisfing on the ice and left something very delicious there and they were eating that..some fish maybe.. I was thinking that those crows were very brave birds. :-D
Poistathanks for sharing the cold and ice and snow; I certainly feel the 'worlds apart' theme here. You are conditioned well to make it out amongst the bad weather to take these wonderful photographs
VastaaPoistaThank you for your words, Carole!! <3
PoistaI love that shot of the eagle landing. Wow! And I see you have plenty of snow. I feel cold just looking at these photos!
VastaaPoistaThank you, Sharon! <3

Thank you, Molly!! <3
PoistaWell I think that you did a fine job with what you had to work with on distance. What a thrill it had to have been~
VastaaPoistaThanks, Mary! <3
PoistaI really enjoyed this series of images! ANY photo of an eagle is a good one! Your scenes of winter are really interesting since we have no snow or ice here in central Florida.
VastaaPoistaThank you so much! <3
