    Heavenly post. I am in the process of making my daughter who will turn 50 on the 10th a picture frame covered with my mother's old mother of pearl buttons in all sizes. Painted the frame a off white linen color and will grout the buttons with gout of the same tint. Now I see the white birdhouse...I am going to have to make her one of those. It is so pretty. Just loved your series today. genie
