  3. Gorgeous images and a pretty bird. It looks very cold there, we had a warm balmy 70 degree December day today.

    1. I'm not worried about crows but smaller birds have some difficulties to find food and stay warm - that's why we feed them!

  6. My fav is the bottom right of the four photos put together. The picture reminds me of the hush that falls with the first deep snow. Beautiful.

  8. Hooray! Finally it's winter in Finland! ;-)

Here in Germany it's around 0°C, and wet, wet, wet with short periods of snow and glazed frost - bäh...!

Your hooded crow perfectly fits to the colours of your winter scenes, Pieni!

    Uwe.

  10. Kauniin talvisia kuvia!
Nämä pakkaset tuntuvat kyllä niin yllättävän kylmiltä, kun talvi tulikin pakkasineen yhtäkkiä. Ei oikein ehtinyt totutella kunnolla. ;)

Kaunista pakkaspäivää Sinulle näin Itsenäisyyspäivän aattona! :)

  11. Wonderful pictures! I miss snow!

It must be 'crow week' on WBW - I used to see Hooded Crows like the ones in your picture before I moved to Australia.

Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW. Stewart M - Melbourne

    1. I know!!! I took a picture of very fluffy looking crow but it wasn't great - it was too blurry.

  14. Beautiful photos!! I'm looking forward to it snowing here so I can take some gorgeous photos like this. Though snow isn't seeming like it's anywhere close since it's been in the 70's so far this week!!

  17. Gorgeous! Love all the white!! Snow certainly does make for gorgeous photos, but I'm not a fan of the cold!!! And it sure looks like its bitter cold there!! -4 degrees? i can't imagine. i was so thankful for an unusually warm day yesterday - temps hit 65 degrees!! Temps are back to normal in the 40s today though.
